Work With The Four Inner Seasons Archetypes
If you are anything like me, you retook the quiz to see if your answers would change or to discover if the other archetypes apply to you ✨.
And you would be right … because you’ll move through every four archetypes as you make dinner, create a social post, or birth a project … basically when you create anything ;).
Just like how a plant has its own rhythm to grow from seed to fruit, so do we.
You will move through your own version of the cycle of introspection, creativity, expansion, and harvest with each creative endeavour you make.
By now, you know each archetype offers a superpower along with a realm of tasks to perform it is exceptionally good at. Conversely, each archetype also has shadow aspects preventing you from tapping into your project's flow.
How long you spend in each archetype and how fast you move to the next one depends entirely on the nature of your project … it is something that you’ll feel in your bones when it’s time to move to the next inner season archetype.
The exploration I am inviting you to consider is threefold:

But let me tell you, there are times in a project my creative energy was so wonky, I can’t get anything to go according to plan. In these instances, it’s time for a reset and it might be needed to jump to a more supportive archetype, go backwards, or do a sweep from the beginning.
The first step of working with this information is to begin to notice our own inner season versus the inner season of a project we are taking on. You will have your own overarching inner season … I was in my season of winter (Rhythm Keeper) for a years. But I still had to take on new projects at work, create dinners, and plan my kid’s birthday parties. For each one, I had to use my season of the Rhythm Keeper to tap into the concept, my Celestial Dreamer to plan it out, my Cosmic Magician to be well-resourced, and my Wild Weaver to make it happen.

The Rhythm Keeper
(water, winter, introspection)
The creation process begins in winter when the old plant growth long went dormant and the activity of creation remains invisible to the naked eye. The soil is being renewed with the nourishment of the old, and preparing the inner landscape for the new plant growth to emerge in the spring.
Allow yourself to communicate more broadly and share details about your vision, hopes, dreams, and desires trusting the right words and the clarity will come later. This is a time to pay attention to your inner landscape, through shadow work and self-tending practices that nourish you all the way to the depths of your soul.
Highly detailed tasks will take more energy out of you. They must be done as part of day-to-day life, but plan for very short bursts and add in lots of self-tending time.
This phase of the creation process is where you’ll feel into what is aligned, what you desire to create, what feels inspiring, and what do you want to experience next. Once you “catch” the feeling and vibe of the project, you’ll move into the energy of the Celestial Dreamer.

The Celestial Dreamer

The fertile soil makes a great incubator for the seed. This is when you come alive and your ability to communicate with clarity emerges. In this energy, we go from intuitively feeling deeply our pivots and next steps to engaging our sacred Mind and logically knowing what we have to do.
Just like when the seed begins to grow, there is an excitement to plan in detail, organize, implement, and express your voice. It feels like your creativity returned and you are full of ideas that feel a bit more concrete. In this energy, you will feel best when you are creating the wireframe for your sales pages, researching, and creating content that communicates the practical aspects of your message.

The Cosmic Magician
(fire, summer, expansion)
In this energy, Mother Earth shows us that the plant is growing, maturing and multiplying. Your communication and creativity will take on a more passionate tone. You are carrying out the plans and details from the Celestial Dreamer and are nurturing your projects. In this energy, you are enthusiastically mobilizing the resources to get things completed.
Your high energy is capable to perform detailed tasks but for shorter periods of time. Detailed tasks require a certain contraction and a narrowing of your focus in a time when you just want to be wild and free! In this energy, focusing on creating beautiful visuals such as graphics, workbooks, and beautifying your sales pages will feel most rewarding.

Wild Weaver
(earth, autumn, harvest)
The Wild Weaver is the most rooted and grounded of the archetypes. This energy gifts us the ability to strategically move through precise and detailed tasks to create what we sought after.
You are an excellent strategist having the bird’s eye view of the entire project and know what needs to be done. In this energy, you are focusing on editing your copy, connecting your various software, and taking care of precise tasks without distraction. You feel in when you are immersed in a task and hours passed and you didn’t even blink. It’s the energy that allows you to be in the “zone”.
This is also the archetype of bringing projects to completion and rejoicing in your achievements.

You must give yourself permission to break free from the chaotic pace of modern life and embark on a more intentional path. To deviate from conventional ways of doing tasks just because “that’s how it’s always been done”, or “that’s how the most successful people do it” and begin to honour what that looks like for you.
Understanding your inner rhythm won’t mean much if you do not honour it by implementing the right systems and support structures that allow you to create a life and business without the overwhelms and burnout.
My prayer for you as you enter the exploration of your own rhythm is to be curious and open.
May you witness what depletes you.
May you explore what give you vitality.
May you embrace your bursts of energy and let your creativity flow.
May you savour your energy lows.
May you rewrite the narrative of your life.
May you live a life where you honour your body's needs, understand your energy cycles, and make choices aligned with your true essence.
